Lets start from the beginning!
All of my journey started and was made possible because a friend and incredible professional Carol Lancelloti trusted me in doing hair and makeup for her studio. At the time Bark Studio became my home, my love and the fertile soil to plant all of my dreams. Its amazing how something that started as a collaboration became a serious career for both of us. We were so young, straight out of college and with so much focus, so many goals and the wild energy to make it happen.
A Lagarta is an online magazine that was founded at the studio and stands independently with the goal of gathering amazing professionals together to create LOVE and ART. Our very first editorial was inspired our name " The Caterpillar" in Alice in wonderland and in my opinion it stands for that moment in your life that is transcending, transforming and clarifying. Where you meet a little bit of yourself everyday, and get to pick and choose the details of WHO YOU ARE. We change alone, but we can stand together.
It has been over 10 years, but I look at these and my heart melts. I remember every struggle, every accomplishment, every detail I learned along the way! So grateful to have started in my home town in Rio de Janeiro, to have come by the amazing teachers through my path. Hope that you enjoy my very first CREATIVE EDITORIAL.
